Sculpture, Ebe, Dea della Giovinezza - 117 cm - Bronze

Stunning sculpture depicting the goddess Hebe, Greek goddess of Youth, daughter of Zeus and Hera, was the handmaiden of the gods, as cupbearer of the gods on Olympus. She served nectar and ambrosia, substances that conferred immortality, and was associated with vitality and grace. Subsequently she became the wife of Heracles, and had the power to confer eternal youth.
