The bird is signed Emile Dautrive and the reed stalks are signed Jacques Limousin. This sculpture is a collaboration between two renowned French Art Deco sculptors. Unique.
On the reverse side, beneath Dautrive’s signature, the word “Bronze” is printed.
Emile Dautrive was active from the late 1920s to the 1930s and created iconic Art Deco sculptures. The well-known yet equally enigmatic Jacques Limousin was active as a sculptor during the same period.
