Bernardo Tasso - L'Amadigi - 1581

Full leather binding with faded gilt lettering and decoration to spine. All edges red. Wear to exterior, as shown, with joints cracked, boards loosened, marks and scuffs p to leather, minor loss to top of spine. Two bookplates to endpapers. Small ink inscriptions to ffep verso and facing blank. Unfortunately lacking [8] unnumbered leaves at the front, including the title, however the text collates as complete. Age toning, damp staining and the odd mark or spot here and there, otherwise pages are generally clean, as shown.
