Walter Cangialosi - - Cello - Italy - 2003

This shoulder cello was built by luthier Walter Cangialosi in 2003.
The woods used are:
back, ribs, neck and pegbox, flame maple from the Balkans;
top plate, red spruce from the Val di Fiemme;
pegs and fingerboard, ebony.
Dimensions: total length 84 cm; body 53 cm; height of the upper bout 7.5 cm; height of the lower bout 8 cm;
body width 30.5 - 17 - 24 cm;
scale length 47.7 cm
LARSEN strings.
Tuning: currently G - D - A - E; if desired, it can be tuned like a cello, C - G - D - A.
This instrument is very easy to handle, capable of playing any cello music.
