Balance or scale (16) - Oak - Antique complete block (16)

Very beautiful and complete weight block, 16-piece (1 block + 15 weights) ranging from 1 gram up to no less than 2 kilograms. The weights are made of brass/bronze and are provided with numerous calibration/marking signs (see photos). The block is made of oak or another type of hardwood. Probably made in Belgium/Netherlands at the end of the 19th century, around 1880/1900. The whole has a lovely patina and shows pleasing age-related wear, which gives it a beautiful and very charming appearance. See the many photos for further info/details.
