Description A Chinese porcelain plate from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), early 18th century, decorated in the classic Imari palette with underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red enamels. The plate is richly decorated with floral motifs in both the central medallion and the rim. The raised rounded rim and balanced composition are characteristic of early Qing export porcelain made for the European market. A charming example of Chinese Imari ware with attractive hand-painted decoration and warm enamel tones.
