Beautiful and rare wooden escritoire with a Japanese-inspired decor on a black background. Decor of butterflies and leaves signed at the bottom right. Item made in Japan in the late 19th century for the European market. Small compartment inside with lids adorned with flowers.

Closed dimensions: 33 x 26.5 x 10.5 cm

Some flaws: missing drawer on the side, small wood losses, lock not functional and a small wood chip just above. Small holes in the green felt. The photos are part of the description. The escritoire will be carefully packed and shipped with a tracking number. Not available for delivery to the USA or to the Middle East.

Belle et rare écritoire en bois au décor japonais sur un fond noir. Décor de papillons et feuilles signé en bas à droite. Objet fabriqué au Japon à la fin du 19e siècle pour le marché européen. Petit compartiment à l'intérieur avec des couvercles ornés de fleurs.
