A splendid, handcrafted jewelry box.
This versatile box is perfect as a stylish sewing box, for high-quality utensils, or as an impressive display cabinet.
The case features a two-door upper section, behind which lie two drawers, as well as a large, wide base drawer behind which a music box is located. This plays as soon as the bottom drawer is opened. On the back, it can be wound up. All compartments are fully lined with red fabric.
The piece is adorned all around with richly decorated brass corner fittings, solid side handles, and a decorative front lock. Including the matching brass lock with key.
Width approx. 27.5 cm | Height approx. 18 cm | Depth approx. 15 cm.
Massive 2.37 kg – a sign of solid construction and high-quality material choice.
Very good condition with beautiful, age-related patina. The mechanism of the music box and the drawers work flawlessly.
