Florence Manlik set off to discover the House's iconographic heritage by leafing through the plates of the itinerant-catalogues from the Émile Hermès collection dating from the late 19th century. In her poetic tale, a bear, a deer, a horse, and a fox observe a whole people of loops, chains, little bells and padlocks: a curious inventory of shapes and stories past and to come.
