An exceptionally rare original lot consisting of one sealed bottle of Archer’s Light Blended Scotch Whisky, distilled and blended in Scotland and bottled under British Government supervision, as stated on the label.
This high-quality blend, aged for over 5 years, is composed exclusively of 100% Scotch Whiskies. It was produced for McCaffery & Son (Whisky) Ltd. by the world-renowned Aberlour Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd., proprietors of one of the most established and finest distilleries in the traditional Glenlivet region of Scotland. The label specifies an alcohol content of 43% ABV and each bottle contains a significant volume of 2 Liters.
The whisky was exported to Italy and imported by the prominent firm D&C of Zola Predosa (BO). Each bottle bears original UTIF tax seals on the capsules, further confirming its authenticity and official vintage import status.
The lot, originating from a private collection and most likely dating back to the 1970s or 1980s, is in excellent and fully original condition. The fill level is optimal, and the iconic yellow label featuring the archer logo is remarkably well-preserved. This set represents a rare example of blended Scotch whisky from the golden age of international trade, linked to the prestigious Aberlour name.
