A particularly elegant and slim wall console (or console/console shelf) in the recognizable style of the Amsterdam School / Art Deco, dating from the 1920s-1930s.
The console is made of oak and stands out for its clean, vertical lines and refined proportions. The front and the small top shelf are equipped with the characteristic tight geometric accents of the Amsterdam School in a contrasting dark color.
This type of console was used in the Art Deco period to display a small precious object, such as a bronze, sculpture, or piece of jewelry. Thanks to its compact size and the minimalist yet expressive design, it is a beautiful architectural detail in any vintage, Art Deco, or modern interior.
