Description from the seller

Thulin – a pair of art-nouveau flambé vases with openwork handles – Belgium – ca. 1900-1920

Beautiful and decorative pair of Belgian art-nouveau vases attributed to Thulin, manufactured in Belgium in the early 20th century.

These elegant ceramic vases are characterized by their graceful organic design with openwork handles and a particularly flambé glaze in deep greens with copper-red and iridescent accents. The sculptural lines and symmetrical form fit perfectly with the Belgian Jugendstil tradition.

The combination of the flowing form and the rich glaze gives these vases a distinctly decorative character, typical of high-quality Belgian art ceramics from the Art Nouveau period.

Both vases are in good overall condition with normal signs of aging and craquelure in the glaze, appropriate to their age and production process. No troubling damages observed.

A particularly atmospheric and decorative ensemble for lovers of Belgian Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, and early 20th-century ceramics.
