The pieces are very original, with great attention to detail in their craftsmanship, featuring a pirate and sailor theme with expressive faces.

The pieces are very large. The king is 14 cm tall!!!!!, the pawn 10 cm, all pieces have a base of about 4 cm. They are made of solid wood.
The board measures 54 cm wide and 54 cm long.

The whole set is in excellent condition with some signs of the passage of time, as is natural given its age, which lends it greater character.

It is an impressive chess set aimed at completing a collection, which in addition to being a decorative item, is perfect for playing, without fear of damage due to the wood’s durability and the size of the board and its pieces.

Las piezas son muy originales, con gran detalle en su elaboración con temática de piratas y marineros con expresiones en sus rostros. Las piezas son muy grandes. El rey tiene 14 cm de alto!!!!!, el peón 10 cm,  todas las piezas tienen una base de 4 cm, aproximadamente. Son de madera maciza.
El tablero tiene unas dimensiones de 54 cm de ancho y 54 cm de largo.

Todo el conjunto se encuentra en excelente estado con algún signo propio del paso del tiempo, como es lógico dada su antigüedad, que le otorga una mayor personalidad

Es un ajedrez impresionante destinado a completar una colección, que además de ser un elemento decorativo, es perfecto para jugar, sin temor a dañarlo por la resistencia de la madera y por el tamaño del tablero y sus pìezas.
