Table lamp - Glass, Silverplated

Elegant vintage lamp with a silvered metal sculpture (silver plate or pewter) depicting a winged putto or cherub holding with its arms the glass body of the light-emitting part in satin glass.
The circular base rests on feet decorated in a classical or baroque style.
It was probably originally an oil lamp and was subsequently electrified in the first half of the 20th century.
The cord and plug are original to the period.
