Emilio Scanavino: Untitled, a limited edition screen print (110) in red, black and white, on heavy paper, produced in 2000–2010, signed and in excellent condition, 33 × 34 cm, Italy.
Description from the seller
Emilio Scanavino – Silkscreen / Multiple on paper, signed and numbered
Graphic work attributed to Emilio Scanavino, characterized by the strong visual impact typical of his abstract, gestural investigations.
The composition shows a stark contrast between the deep black of the graphic intervention and the light background, framed by a bright red edge that amplifies the piece's dynamic tension. The intertwined, tactile mark immediately recalls the informal, gestural language that made Scanavino one of the leading figures of Italian art in the second half of the twentieth century.
The work appears:
* signed in pencil at the bottom
* hand-numbered (“19/100” visible in the photographs)
* realized on heavy paper
The work retains a very strong aesthetic presence and is particularly decorative, ideal for both collectors of contemporary Italian graphics and for modern, minimalist interiors.
Conditions:
Good overall condition. There are slight signs of age and light waviness of the paper visible in the photographs. It is advised to carefully view the images that constitute an integral part of the description.
