Statue in régule on a marble base, of the Immaculate Conception.
It dates from the late 19th century, or perhaps the early 20th century, and belonged to a resident of Lourdes.
The Immaculate Conception is the doctrine by which, by virtue of an exceptional grace, the Virgin Mary was preserved from original sin.
