Jonone - Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité - 2010s

John Andrew Perello, aka JonOne, revisits here the masterpiece by Eugène Delacroix, Liberty Leading the People.

The work was created in 2015 at the request of the French Ministry of Culture, in response to the January 2015 attacks (Charlie Hebdo, Hyper Cacher…).

It was presented at the Élysée Palace and offered to President François Hollande as a symbol of national unity.

Following the creation of the original canvas in 2015, the Ministry of Culture and Communication (then led by Fleur Pellerin) decided to disseminate the image in the form of large-scale posters.

Original photos of the artwork for sale. Artwork stored flat under a plastic sleeve in a professional binder and in a non-smoking area.

Carefully packed in a sturdy tube and shipped with a tracking number.

The artwork will be protected with kraft paper, inserted into a rigid tube, then shipped in a reinforced cardboard box.
