A heavy oak stool (about 5.5 kg), with clear Neogothic influences. According to tradition, this stool originates from a church in Liège (Wallonia, Belgium). Dating is difficult, probably early or mid 20th century. A unique object.

The stool is beautifully patinated. On two sides the wood is cracked, and restoration work is visible on the inside. The cracks contribute to the character of the piece. Also suitable as a plant stand.

Naturally extremely sturdy and stable.

Een zware eiken kruk (circa 5,5 kg), met duidelijk neogotische invloeden. Volgens de overlevering is deze kruk afkomstig uit een kerk in Luik (Wallonië, België). Datering is moeilijk, waarschijnlijk vroege of midden 20ste eeuw. Een uniek object. 

De kruk is prachtig gepatineerd. Aan twee zijden is het hout gebarsten, aan de binnenzijde is herstel werk te zien. De barsten dragen bij aan het karakter van het meubel. Ook geschikt als plantentafel. 

Uiteraard uiterst stevig en stabiel.
