- Particularly characteristic is its peeling bark, beneath which a noticeably yellow-beige trunk becomes visible, giving the tree an aged appearance at an early stage.
- Over the seasons it offers an impressive color display: fresh green in spring, glossy foliage in summer, vivid yellow and orange tones in autumn, and the decorative bark texture in winter.
- This is complemented by its yellow, aromatic fruits, which further enhance its ornamental value.
- Very hardy and pruning-friendly

This bonsai belongs to our Bonsai Selection. These are high-quality, healthy, and visually appealing trees that meet our quality standards.
The trees, however, were not cultivated or shaped by us and are not in our own bonsai specialty substrate mix.

Our Standards:
- Each bonsai is delivered with a sample pack of our favored organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width we place the measuring instrument at half height between the root base and the first branch (see example image). If there are several trunks, the widest is chosen.
- Where available, we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are potted before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- Service providers are commissioned who state that the goods are normally delivered within a maximum of 4 working days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
