Antique Catalan Modernisme Wooden Frame, circa 1900, 60 × 80 cm
Beautiful antique wooden picture frame dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1895–1915).
Handcrafted wooden construction with carved decorative ornamentation and original patinated finish. The frame features a richly detailed repeating floral and scroll motif characteristic of the Art Nouveau / Modernisme period. The dark patina in the recessed areas highlights the depth of the carving and gives the frame a warm antique appearance.
