Description from the seller
Set of three Val Saint Lambert cocktail / wine glasses, circa 1910, unsigned.
Magnificent set consisting of two cobalt blue crystal cocktail glasses and one red Bernacastel model glass, all attributed to Val Saint Lambert (Belgium), early 20th century. Elegant conical shape with an extremely fine and precise cutting: complex geometric motifs, diamond crosshatching, star rosettes and finely worked stems. Beautiful color contrast with intense cobalt blue and deep ruby red on clear crystal. Harmonious and refined ensemble, highly representative of fine Belgian glassware from the 1910 period.
Unsigned. Excellent condition for the two blue ones and very good condition for the red.
Description of the pieces:
• Two blue glasses: height 11.5 cm, base diameter 6 cm, rim diameter 8 cm, weight 100 g each.
• Red Bernacastel glass: height 15 cm, rim diameter 7.5 cm, weight 250 g.
Provenance: private Belgian collection.
Very carefully packed shipment.
