About the artist:
María Eugenia Piacentini (Buenos Aires, 1981), self-taught
from a very young age, feels the vital need to create and recreate
space without time limits, fascinated by materializing
what she visualized only in her mind.
She wished to study plastic surgery, but ultimately trained
in Applied Arts to Sculpture at the Escuela de Arte La Palma
de Madrid and at the Francisco Alcántara Ceramics School,
after working in character effects makeup for theatre and cinema. Today she carves her pieces
with surgical detail and dazzling delicacy according to an art critic from Barcelona.
She has exhibited individually and collectively in Mallorca, Madrid, Teruel, Valladolid, Zaragoza, Ourense, Rome,
