Suzuki Violin Co. No. 208 Mandolin, Nagoya, 1964, with Case Item Description: A vintage 8-string mandolin made by Suzuki Violin Co., Ltd. in 1964, model No. 208. The instrument has a warm amber wooden top, a rounded ribbed back, decorative border inlay, and a dark pickguard with floral inlay detail. The mandolin is currently fitted with all 8 strings, and no problem has been noted with the installed strings. Four spare Maxima mandolin string packets are included. A hard case is included, but it has heavy scratches, wear, and damage. The clasps / fasteners are no longer working properly, and the handle is missing.
