Roxy Music was just as important for their arrival as Cream or Led Zeppelin were in their respective eras. The arrival of music with more finesse and soundscapes, focused more on orchestration than on 'musician heroes', from which it provoked and foreshadowed the orientation that followed. Roxy Music is a mix of exceptional personalities and musicians whose collective work is breathtaking. Artists who, in every title whose originality of writing is well established, create atmospheres and phases that retain both a rock and a psychedelic side of the preceding years. It is a box that describes not only their musical history but also the stylistic evolution from their first album "Roxy Music" to "Avalon". If there is a representative box from the 70s, this is it, and it is essential to have it. Released on July 31, 2012, to mark the 40th anniversary of their debut single 'Virginia Plain' featuring 'The Numberer' on the B-side, 'The Complete Studio Recordings' contains the eight studio albums released by Roxy Music between June 1972 and May 1982, plus two CDs of singles, B-sides, and alternative mixes, packaged in a ten-CD box set.

The individual albums, from 'Roxy Music' to 'Avalon', are housed in gatefold mini-LP sleeves, while the compilation CDs containing singles and alternative mixes are housed in a gold-colored gatefold mini-double-LP sleeve. The nine sleeves fit securely into a cardboard tray, which then slides into a robust outer slipcase. 'The Complete Studio Recordings' contains 74 tracks, spread across Roxy Music's eight studio albums, plus 32 bonus tracks featuring singles, B-sides, and alternative mixes, totaling 106 songs. All albums reached the UK Top 10, with six reaching the Top 5. The band had a total of sixteen Top 40 singles, ten of which reached the Top 10 and seven the Top 5. Each studio album comes with the original artwork and full credits from the musicians.
The entire box set is in perfect condition. Everything—the box, the sleeves, and the CDs—is like new!
