This is an incense burner created using a traditional method continuous since ancient times, decorated with blue pigment mainly composed of cobalt oxide, which is generally called Sometsuke. Figures conversing are arranged on the front and back faces, different flowers and plants are painted on the left and right faces, and distinctive leaves are designed to project from the four corners.
