Vintage Estate Pipe (Made in Denmark)Beautiful and highly collectible estate pipe from the famous Danish manufacturer Stanwell. This is the iconic shape 227 (Bent Dublin), originally designed by the legendary Danish master pipe maker Tom Eltang.This piece is a highly sought-after vintage model, manufactured in the historic Borup factory in Denmark (estimated period: 1980s/1990s), long before the brand moved its production to Italy.
Stamped with the prestigious "Century" series name in stylized, interlocking cursive letters
Original "MADE IN DENMA..." stamp. The end of the word ("ark") is missing
This is a classic and highly authentic factory stamping flaw, very common on curved shanks that were hand-polished in the Borup factory.On the stem: Features the official Stanwell white-stamped crowned "S" logo.
Excellent estate condition. The briar body is clean with no major dents or scratches. The ebonite stem is deep black, glossy, and shows no teeth marks. The rim of the bowl is clean. Ready to smoke or add to a high-end collection.
