Functional Art Nouveau desk thermometer (circa 1900) in regule with bronze patina, 26 cm high. The stand features a typical Belle Époque design, adorned with a female mascaron at the top and a winged cherub in relief on its base. The central brass plate is engraved and graduated from 0 to 50 under the inscription "THERMOMÈTRE". Note the presence of two small holes in the upper part which, although the object was originally on a stand, may allow wall-mounting use. 
and shows some normal signs of wear. The metal frame is sound and stable, with no cracking, breaking, or repairs. The original bronze patina and the brass plate show wear, and the back bears its original cover.

Thermomètre de bureau Art Nouveau fonctionnel  (env 1900) en régule à patine de bronze, d'une hauteur de 26 cm. Le support présente un décor typique de la Belle Époque, orné d’un mascaron féminin en partie haute et d’un chérubin ailé en relief sur sa base. La plaque centrale en laiton gravé est graduée de 0 à 50 sous l'inscription "THERMOMÈTRE". À noter la présence de deux petits trous en partie supérieure qui, bien que l'objet soit initialement sur pied, permettent éventuellement une utilisation en suspension murale.
et présente quelques marques d'usage normales. La structure métallique est saine et stable, sans fêlure ni cassure ou réparation.
 La patine de bronze d'origine et la plaque de laiton affichent des usages, le revers porte son cache d'origine.
