Montblanc - 244 - Fountain pen

Rare Montblanc fountain pen, model 244, produced in the 1950s in striped celluloid (striped pattern). A true collector’s piece, highly sought after for its chromatic rarity compared to the black versions of the era.

Nib: Original 14-karat gold, with the original engravings "Montblanc", "14C" and "585".

Body and Cap: Striped celluloid with excellent shine. Blue-tinted transparent ink viewing window. Vintage logo engraved on the cap and the number "244" clearly visible at the base.

Condition: Visually in very good vintage condition, no apparent cracks. Belonged to a private family collection. For safety and to preserve the integrity of the original internal components (such as the cork), the piston mechanism has not been tested with ink. Sold without original box.
