Elegant walking stick in 800 silver, antique - Germany, late 19th / early 20th century (L. 87 cm)
Description:
In the auction, a splendid and elegant antique item (total length 87 cm), characterized by refined silverwork.
The shaft and details reflect the artisanal craftsmanship of the period. On the silver are clearly visible the official stamps of the German State from the late 19th century: the hallmarked 800 fineness guaranteeing metal purity, accompanied by the famous imperial crescent moon and crown stamp (Halbmond und Krone), officially introduced from 1888.
