The piece is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining intact the contemporary personality and the characteristic industrial appeal of the Silver Mule finish.
The body and cap retain their original brushed metal finish, with the uniform satin finish typical of the model. There are slight micro-surface marks from use, visible only under direct light or close inspection, absolutely coherent with careful use and not intrusive in the overall aesthetics of the piece. No structural dents, dings or deformations are observed.
The metal clip maintains its correct alignment and firmness, functioning properly. The engraved ring “Montegrappa” retains clear and elegant definition.
The steel nib engraved, marked F (Fine), is in very good visual and structural condition, with no damage or alterations to the tip. The tines maintain proper alignment and the feed system shows no visible anomalies. The writing is fluent and consistent.
The cap closure system works correctly, ensuring a secure fit.
The fountain pen comes with its original documents; it will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Overall, it is a well-preserved fountain pen, fully functional and ready for immediate use or collection, with light signs of responsible use and no defects that affect its performance or aesthetic presence.
