Medieval Columns Chess

A magnificent chessboard with a medieval theme, shaped like columns in silvery and ochre tones, with great attention to detail in its manufacture, as you can see in the photographs.

The king features a stylized crown and the queen a very elaborate rounded top. The king measures 8.5 cm, the pawn 7 cm. All pieces have felt at their base, which allows for perfect sliding on the board. The pieces have considerable weight, but I cannot determine the material they are made of; it could be metal or a ceramic material.

The board is large, with polychrome wooden squares, framed by a metal frame with feet. It is quite heavy. Its dimensions are 39 cm in width and 6 cm in height.

This is a chess set with a modern and elegant design that replaces figurative iconography with the difference in height and the finish detail of the pieces, thus forming its visual indicators.

The set is in very good condition, with some signs of aging, but no breaks or repairs.
