Vintage German brass bonbonnière / lid tray – Rose Handwerk – hand-polished brass – circa the 1960s/70s
Elegant vintage bonbonnière or decorative box made of solid brass by the German studio Rose Handwerk. The piece still bears the original factory labels with the inscription "Messing handpoliert" and attests to traditional German craftsmanship from the latter half of the 20th century.
The organically shaped bowl rests on three subtle flaring handles, while the richly profiled lid provides a decorative look that pairs perfectly with Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century, and vintage interiors today.
The brass has a warm, deep gloss and is hand-polished. Due to its graceful form and artisanal character, this piece is decorative as well as functional for candies, jewelry, keys, or other small items.
