Napoléon III era perfume flacon in glass with a gilded bronze mount, 16 cm high (diameter 6 cm, depth 6 cm), weighing 425 g with the original perfume intact and provenance from France.
Description from the seller
Napoleon III-era perfume bottle in glass with gilded bronze mount - With antique perfume
Description:
Splendid and rare perfume bottle from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period), in the style of the 18th century.
This transparent pressed glass bottle with fluted silhouette fits perfectly into a tripod bronze stand superbly chiseled and gilded.
The mount is adorned with a rich openwork decoration of swirls, Rocaille motifs and fine garlands of flowers.
The original bronze-gilded stopper, topped by a stylized floral bouquet, conceals a long glass pouring stem (applicator) intact, which is particularly rare for objects of this period.
Note: The bottle still contains its original antique perfume. On the olfactory level, the notes strongly recall the legendary Mitsouko perfume from Guerlain (evocation given for informational purposes, with no absolute certainty). An added poetic dimension to this historic dressing-table object.
A refined display piece, ideal for collectors of antique flaconage or to bring a touch of historical elegance to your interior.
Height: 16 cm
Diameter: 6 cm
Weight: 425 g (with perfume)
Condition: Excellent overall condition. Splendid patina of the gilding, glass intact with no cracks or chips. Internal stem immaculate.
