Beautiful set of gray glass glasses produced by IVV in Italy.

The glasses are made of decorated glass with an irregular surface, particularly brilliant and very pleasant to the touch.

IVV is one of the leading and very few remaining glassworks that originated in Italy, developed there and that still produce in the Bel Paese. The company, in fact, was founded in 1952 in San Giovanni Valdarno, in the heart of Tuscany, by a group of master glassmakers, whose long-standing aim has always been to guarantee a product whose artisanal characteristics combine the tradition and culture of their land with creative and constant innovation, inspiring a unique, authentic, up-to-date and Italian style, and blending different textures and optical effects with the constant and indispensable artisanal quality.

Transparency, brilliance and sonority are the terms that characterize the high quality of IVV products. This result is achieved by choosing only selected and refined raw materials, which are worked at very high temperatures to eliminate all impurities.

With iconic products that anticipated trends and fashions: from the 1950s to the 1990s, thanks to the industrial scale given to its production activity, it was a forerunner in making blown glass products for table, buffet and home furnishing accessible to an increasingly broad market, up to that moment accessible to few, as an expression of pure elite craftsmanship.

This path was pursued without ever renouncing either expressing its own creative originality, drawing on the heritage represented by its master glassmakers, or the quality, still today the flagship of IVV products: from the transparency and brilliance of its glass, to the color imparted throughout the mass of the glasses (as important not only for users' health but also for maintenance issues in hotels and restaurants).

Excellent condition, measurements 8.5x8.5 cm. Two glasses still have the IVV sticker attached.
