■ Description

This is a copper vase from Takaoka, a region renowned for its traditional Japanese metal craftsmanship known as Takaoka copperware.

Created by the artist “Kozan,” this piece features elegant crane motifs rendered in gold and silver tones against a refined dark bronze-colored surface. The gracefully flying cranes are depicted with delicate detail and a strong sense of movement, conveying the elegance and sophistication characteristic of Japanese art.

The vase displays a well-balanced form, with a rounded body flowing into a slender elongated neck. Its refined silhouette makes it suitable not only as a flower vase but also as a decorative object or a collectible example of Japanese metalwork.

The original signed wooden storage box (tomobako) is included.
