Table lamp - Bronze, Crystal - Art Nouveau

Spectacular and beautiful lamp with Art Nouveau-inspired influences, of French origin, from the early to mid-20th century.

Both the base and the shaft of the piece are cast in bronze. The base is conical/flared in shape, richly decorated with repoussé motifs reminiscent of acanthus leaves and palmettes, elements of Modernist style. The shaft features turned rings and two central knots with oval moldings.

Made of blown glass, it has an acid treatment (frosted) that diffuses light softly and aristocratically. Its shape emulates an inverted flower bud or a bulb, adorned with four-petal relief floral motifs and flowing lines that imitate stems. This naturalism is the quintessence of Art Nouveau.
