The D-Initial fountain pen, made in France in the 2000s, has a black lacquered resin/polyester body with gold‑plated clip, ring and terminals, a length of 14 cm and a diameter of 1.1 cm, in good used condition and fully operational.
Description from the seller
A0000004327
The pen presents a very good overall condition, with careful aesthetics and a level of conservation appropriate to responsible use. The body in black lacquer maintains a deep and uniform shine, with very slight micro-signs of use visible only under close inspection, with no material loss or structural defects.
The gold elements (clip, central ring, and terminals) retain an excellent appearance, with an intense and homogeneous shine, showing only minimal superficial marks inherent to use and the passage of time, without significant wear of the plating.
The cap fits correctly via a snap-fit system, ensuring a firm and functional closure. The clip maintains its proper tension and alignment, with no play.
The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, without deformations or visible damage. The feed has been inspected, guaranteeing proper ink flow and a smooth, continuous writing.
The pen has been checked and serviced, being fully operational and ready for immediate use.
Care recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged disuse, clean with warm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve proper functioning.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
