Omega mechanical movement watch with an 18 karat gold case, reference 132019, a doré dial, 34 mm case diameter and a leather band, featuring manual winding Omega calibre 613.
Description from the seller
A0000005041
The watch is presented in good overall condition, evidencing extremely careful prior use befitting its high-end vintage nature. The 18-karat solid gold case maintains a solid, clean, and very well-preserved structure, with the edges of the lugs well defined and without structural deformities, reflecting excellent handling over time.
Externally, there are light signs of wear, mainly in the form of fine superficial manipulation marks (hairlines) and small normal scratches on the polished surfaces of the 18K gold due to its veteran status and everyday use. The lugs preserve their original geometry and symmetry.
The plexiglass crystal is in good condition, guaranteeing excellent visibility of the dial and free of deep cracks, showing only slight superficial micro-scratches derived from natural use. The original champagne-colored dial is in impeccable and exceptionally clean condition, maintaining the absolute sharpness of its typography and the shine of the applied indices, showing only a subtle and very homogeneous time patina that enhances its authenticity and vintage character.
The crown allows winding the movement, setting the hands, and engaging the quick-set date mechanism with completely fluid operation.
The solid gold case back closes firmly and precisely. Its inner face is spotless, showing the factory pearling, and all official manufacturer markings, references, and gold punches perfectly engraved and sharp. Inside, the coveted hand-wound Omega manufacture caliber 613 is presented in an outstanding clean state, free of rust, humidity patinas, or sulphations, displaying the characteristic brilliant coppery finish of Omega movements of the era, with its components fully operational.
The second-hand leather strap is functional and aesthetically harmonizes with the timeless elegance of the piece.
Overall, this is a watch that magnificently preserves its aesthetic and functional qualities, standing out for housing a swan-neck regulated mechanical movement in a refined 18-karat solid gold case, ideal for immediate use or high-level collection.
Conservation recommendations
To preserve the piece's condition, it is advised to completely avoid exposure to water or humid environments (due to its vintage characteristics, it lacks modern hermetic sealing systems). It is advisable to avoid shocks or abrupt mechanical vibrations that could compromise the delicate components of the regulator of this caliber. For exterior case cleaning, use only a dry, soft microfiber cloth, and store the watch in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Happy bidding!
