Description from the seller
A0000004756
The S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 lighter in the Legrand version presents an overall good condition, with visible signs of use appropriate to its age, but fully maintaining its functionality and appeal.
The body shows the characteristic metal finish with a diamond-point pattern, which retains good definition on most of the surface. However, there are uniform wear marks on edges and more exposed areas, where the plating has faded, especially on the borders, corners, and the upper perimeter. These marks are typical of continued use and add an authentic patina that reflects its history.
On the main surfaces, micro-scratches and small wear spots are observed, with no structural blows or deformations, indicating that the piece has been used but properly preserved. The lateral ignition mechanism shows wear in the grooves, though it remains functioning correctly and firmly.
The cap opens and closes properly, with correct alignment, and the ignition is functional, as shown in the images. The bottom shows more evident marks, including scratches around the loading screw, typical in this type of piece due to handling for maintenance.
Overall, this is an original lighter with a very attractive vintage aesthetic, preserving its structural integrity and operation, presenting normal signs of use that do not affect its performance and are coherent with its category as a classic piece.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
