Vintage Brutalist-style table lamp with a three-dimensionally artistic blue and transparent glass diffuser – 60s/70s
Suggestive vintage table lamp characterized by a scenographic combination of worked metal and relievo artistic glass.
The base, made of metal with bronzed finish and oxidized patina, features rich hammered and embossed Brutalist-inspired decoration, with ornamental details that give the object a strong sculptural character.
The diffuser is composed of a transparent glass vase decorated with numerous vertical elements in glass applied in shades of cobalt blue, azure and transparent. The appliqués are in high relief and have a textured, grooved surface that creates a notable three-dimensional effect and fascinating plays of light.
The ensemble recalls European artistic productions of the Sixties and Seventies, with Brutalist and Studio Glass influences.
