Fascinating solid-wood wall decorative panel, entirely carved and hand-painted by artisans from the island of Bali, Indonesia. The work is executed in traditional folk-art style and depicts the famous Melasti ceremony, a purification ritual of Balinese Hinduism. The scene unfolds inside a monumental sacred vessel with the prow finely carved in the shape of the head of a mythical Dragon/Naga.
