Bossu France inkstand dating from 1850–1900, crafted in tin and copper with a patinated bronze appearance, featuring a Jeanne d’Arc bust on an ornate Art Nouveau base and two original crystal inkwells, measuring 27 cm long, 16 cm wide, 16 cm high and weighing 2 kg, in good condition with age-related wear.

Magnificent and imposing patinated bronze desk inkstand depicting Joan of Arc in armor, finely sculpted bust at the center of an elegant decorative composition. The base, richly ornamented with floral motifs and Art Nouveau-inspired volutes, bears witness to remarkable foundry work and great attention to detail.
The set is preserved with its two original crystal receptacles, bringing refinement and harmony to this character piece. The inscription "Paris" is present under the base, accompanied by various manufacture marks.
Its superb antique patina admirably enhances the reliefs of the sculpture and gives this object an exceptional presence. Both decorative and functional, this inkstand will naturally find its place on a desk, in a library, or within a collection of French decorative arts.
