Dance mask (4) - Italy - 1960-1970

Collection of decorative vintage masks, mainly in ceramic and leather, typical of the Venetian tradition and international craftsmanship.
These objects are often used as wall decorative accessories and include several styles and materials:
Venetian Masks in Ceramic
The masks on the left side of the image are typical reproductions of the Carnival of Venice in ceramic or glazed porcelain.
Mask with fan decoration (bottom left): It is a classic model often decorated with floral motifs and details in gold leaf, dating from the 1990s.
Small golden mask (top left): Similar to the "Visetto" models, these miniature masks can be made of brass or gilded ceramic.
Ethnic Mask and in Leather
Ethnic Mask (top right): This piece appears to be an ethnic or tribal mask, possibly of South American or Mexican origin, characterized by vivid colors and bold features.
Black Leather Mask (bottom right): This is a three-dimensional sculpture in molded leather (often called "Leather Art"). These artisanal pieces, popular in the 1970s and 1980s, often depict faces wrapped in drapery and are typical of production in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or of French ateliers.
