The interior of the case is adorned with Chinese printing featuring figures and characters. The tiles bear Western numerals and letters, indicating an early export set.

Condition: used antique condition with wear, loss of finish, discoloration and patina, appropriate to age and use. The tiles are predominantly in good condition.
