A Baccarat crystal Bruxelles decanter dating to circa 1920, in excellent condition with a later stopper, unsigned as produced before acid etching, height 23.5 cm, top diameter 4.2 cm, base diameter 10.5 cm.
Description from the seller
An elegant and highly collectible Baccarat crystal decanter in the celebrated Bruxelles pattern, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
The Bruxelles model is admired for its refined geometric cutting, exceptional brilliance, and timeless sophistication, perfectly embodying the excellence of French crystal craftsmanship during the Belle Époque and early Art Deco period. Its architectural lines and remarkable clarity make it one of Baccarat’s most enduring and recognizable designs.
This example was produced before Baccarat systematically acid-etched its pieces and therefore remains unsigned, although it originally retained its Baccarat paper label, which has unfortunately not survived the passage of time.
The decanter displays an outstanding crystal quality with exceptional transparency and luminosity. It remains in excellent condition, free from significant damage, preserving all the elegance and brilliance for which Baccarat is renowned.
Please note: the stopper is a later replacement and is not original to the decanter.
A distinguished decorative object and a beautiful addition to any collection of fine French crystal, antique barware, or Baccarat masterpieces.
