An interesting and rare lot consisting of 10 original issues of “L’Illustrazione del Popolo,” the prestigious illustrated supplement of the historical Gazzetta del Popolo of Turin, published between 1926 and 1928.
The magazines preserve the fascinating color illustrated covers, typical of the great Italian popular publishing of the early 1900s. Each issue documents episodes of current events, international happenings, curiosities, sporting feats, social events and fashion through evocative illustrations created by the famous illustrator Alfredo Ortelli.
