Art Deco syrup jug Eva Zeisel for Schramberg, 1928

Eva Stricker-Zeisel (1906-2011) produced, in the period 1928-1930, in cooperation with the Schramberg Majolica Factory a series of ceramic objects with décors inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian. Of this short, remarkable period in her prolific life there are therefore only a few examples, but this is one of them, an Art Deco syrup jug with saucer in Mondrian style.

The jug is marked 68 and stamped 6; the saucer is marked 16.
Height of the jug including lid: approx. 14 cm
Diameter of the saucer: approx. 15 cm

Lid and jug have age-related chips.
The saucer is intact.
Handle of the jug has been glued.

Will be shipped very well packed.
