Sanctuary lamp - Copper - With original glass

Magnificent copper God lamp with a double-headed eagle.
This bird represents the heavenly and spiritual aspect of the faith.
The light has an elegant open-work fixture and still has the original glass in which the candle is placed.
The lamp hangs from three chains with cross-shaped links.

The God lamp hangs in the Catholic church near the tabernacle as long as the Holy Sacrament is present in the tabernacle.
The God lamp bears witness to Christ's Real Presence.

The red coloring of the glass shows some wear.
The holder is in good condition. The copper has, over the decades, acquired a beautiful patina.
