A striking, very tall Dutch Art Deco floor lamp from the 1920s, strongly related to the Amsterdam School design language. The lamp has a tall architectural wooden stem rising from a stepped base, with black lacquered accents that sharpen the silhouette beautifully. The base is the real theatre here: angular outlines, small block feet and a strong vertical rhythm. It has unmistakable Dutch Art Deco character, architectural and full of personality. The black details give the piece a graphic quality. The lamp is offered without shade, allowing a new owner to choose a shade that suits the interior. A tall cylindrical, square or slightly tapered custom shade would work particularly well and complete the architectural character of the piece. The lamp has vintage (but later around 1980s) wiring and is in working condition. The height without the support is 160 cm, with support 180 cm. Comes with the support.
