Perfume bottle R.LALIQUE 1937 Model: Molinard-Calendal
Perfume bottle in frosted glass with a gray patina made by René Lalique in 1937 for the French perfume house Molinard.
Molinard is one of the oldest perfume houses in the world, established in France since 1849.
Buoyed by its success, Molinard called upon in the 1930s master glassmakers such as René Lalique, Baccarat or J. Viard.
The bottle offered here is an example of R. Lalique's production from that period.

The bottle is referenced in the catalog raisonné of the glass works of R. Lalique by Félix Marcilhac, ed. l’Amateur Paris, 1994, p. 946
